An Interview with Sir John Whitmore

Thursday, 25 June 2009
Globally recognised expert in coaching and leadership Sir John Whitmore addresses the shift in thinking that is necessary around society's relationship with the economy  to create a sustainable future.  The short term thinking of politicians means the opportunity for change is currently being missed.

We ask Sir John if this propping up of an old system will inevitably lead to a greater crisis further down the line.

I really ought to visit this site more often. I have to agree with Sir John - we need to move away from consumerism as the key driver for the economy. The current driver of planned obsolesence is wasteful and completely unsustainable. The economy as it stands is struggling with the current developed world, how on earth will it cope with raising standards of living for the remaining population of the world?

For us in the west, energy useage and waste must be the cornerstones of any change. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle beomes key here, BUT all traditional mass manuafcturing becomes as useful as a peashooter in a nuclear weapons strike. How do we handle the economic chaos that results?

I have a 20 year old Land Rover and a 38 year old Morgan - I won't buy another new car ever, what use is one? I buy consumer durables on the basis that they are repairable; Dualit toaster, Gaggia coffee machine, old Apple computers and I am delighted to find both official and unofficial parts and service data available. There is a sub-culture for the less material consumerist!

I'm getting tired of stating the obvious (to me).

People come first. A race comes first.

Rights, economy, income, must be all subservient to the interests of a race.
Reducing everyone to an economic atom, to be exploited be the shrewdest race is pure suicide.

After the rainbow is protected, via nation states,
the next step is to ensure everyone gets equal private land or land value, commencing on their 18th birthday and renewed monthly.

This is NOT done (a la the Silver Bullet.) by taxing all land and then creating government programs to genocide the white race (via wars for Israel, massive immigration, and endless social programs) with the proceeds.

The REAL solution is painfully simple.

First of the month collect displacement fees from Net-Displaceres.
Second of the month: compensate Net-Displacees.
Third of the month: Government picks over the bones to Genocide the white race with its endless waste, corruption, wars, and social programs.

But skipping over step two, all the Net-displacees (the vast bulk of us) loose interest and lay down their pitchforks.

Thanks Silver Bullet, you just shot the revolution. People are bored and disinterested in your new (old as George) tax proposal.
