The 'taxpayer' has been made the patsy in all this - agreed. Unfortunately the British taxpayer has also been totally emasculated. Thanks to a battery of 'anti-terrorist' legislation and highly questionable policing, the right to even peaceful protest seems to have been lost under the dictator Gordon Brown.
Can anyone imagine the likes of the poll tax protest of 1989 nowadays?
